Hi, I’m Idah. I’m a Kiwi girl who has lived in Australia for over 16 years. My little family and I live about an hour out of Melbourne.
I crossed the ditch chasing the dollar, the higher pay for the same role as at home. After working in various busy office environments for over 20 years, I came to realise the bigger pay packet did come at a price - my time. Those years certainly formed part of who I am today. The hard work, the dedication, the long hours have all taught me a lot about myself and my strengths.
However, after having my son, I soon realised the long hours at the office to climb the corporate ladder were not going to be sustainable. I loved my job, but not enough to continue giving up precious time for me and my family. I wanted to find an alternative to full time work, but one where I wasn't going to jeopardise the lifestyle we were accustomed to and also aspired to lead.
After those years of giving my all in corporate businesses, I found this online opportunity to put that effort and those hard working hours into myself and my own business. I can utlilise alot of the skills I have gained over the years and now feel very fortunate to now be in an industry that I love - leadership and personal development.
